Privacy for the Bukipaa website and launch waitlist — a product of Simph Tech Limited.
Who this notice is for
Simph Tech Limited is responsible for the personal information described here. This notice covers our website, launch waitlist and enquiries. Bukipaa’s WhatsApp product is not yet open for general use. We will explain how product information is handled before you start using it.
Joining the waitlist
We collect your email address, your business name if you choose to provide it, the time you joined and a record of the launch-email notice you accepted. We use these details to manage the waitlist and email you about Bukipaa’s launch, based on your consent. Joining does not create a product account, authorise payment or sign you up for unrelated marketing. Do not submit someone else’s email without their permission.
Enquiries and website security
If you email contact@bukipaa.com, we use your email address and the information you send to respond and resolve your enquiry. We also process limited technical information to operate the website and prevent misuse, relying on our legitimate interests in providing a reliable service. For waitlist spam limits, our server converts your IP address into a keyed hash; we store that hash and an attempt counter separately from your signup, rather than storing the raw IP address in the waitlist database. Hosting providers may process IP addresses in their own technical logs.
The services we use
Vercel hosts the website, Supabase stores the waitlist, and Zoho Mail handles our contact mailbox. Our waitlist database is hosted in Ireland; providers may also process information in other countries. We restrict access to information needed for these services. Waitlist submissions are not sent to OpenAI, Twilio or Make. We do not sell your waitlist details.
How long we keep information
Waitlist details expire 12 months after collection and are removed from the active database by a daily cleanup. Submitting the same email again does not extend that period. If you later join the product, its notice will explain retention for your product account. Spam-limit records are removed by a daily cleanup once their last rate-limit window is more than 24 hours old. Enquiries are kept only as needed to resolve and follow up on your request or meet applicable legal obligations. Provider logs and backup copies are separate from active database records; active deletion does not imply immediate removal from every provider backup.
Your choices and rights
You can leave the waitlist or withdraw consent to launch emails at any time by emailing contact@bukipaa.com from the address you used to join. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing. You may also request access, correction, a copy or deletion of your information, or object to or request restriction of applicable processing. We may verify ownership before acting on a request. Contact us with privacy questions; you can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Website measurement
We use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate website measurement, without advertising pixels or session recordings. The integration is limited to public pageviews, removes query strings and fragments, and does not send waitlist form fields or custom events. Hosting may separately process technical information needed to deliver and protect the website.
Updates
We will update this notice if our website or information handling changes. Effective 10 October 2026. We will provide product-specific information before the WhatsApp service opens.
